I took Mer and the girls out to my friends 3 acre field the other night, and everyone had a blast. While Mer has better days than others, she's still making steady progress. I was surprised by how close she followed me and my friend around the field. She kept her distance, but didn't want us out of sight! Mer doesn't really "play" or roughhouse, but does enjoy a good game of chase every once in a while. And, while she prefers (and behaves better) in the company of boys, she put her social skills out there to be tested, and ran well with the group of 10 other girls...
